Dubai Beaches: What with beautiful sunny weather almost all round the year the Beaches in Dubai have become a major Dubai Attraction in the last few years,Dubai Beaches: Paradise redefined! Articles drawing us there each time we visit Dubai.Every time we visit one of the Dubai Beaches, it looks better than before. The sun looks lovelier, the sand looks more beautiful and soft, and the warm blue azure waters of the sea look more appealing. I guess I'm totally smitten by the beaches in Dubai. There are quite a few pristine public beaches in Dubai. The 3 most popular ones are:Jumeirah Beach Dubai:One of our favourite Dubai Beaches, the Jumeirah Beach Dubai is also the most famous, worldwide. A stretch of beach in one of the poshest (read wealthiest & fashionable) areas in Dubai, it has the loveliest white soft sand in Dubai. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Rotana Beach Resort and the Oasis Beach Hotel Dubai are all located on this beach and have their own private stretch of beach (Which is even better!).I have spent a great amount of 'Quality Time' here, with my family. Building sand castles, frolicking in the sand, playing volleyball, and, in the evenings, a nice dip in the Arabian Sea, are some things we love doing at the Jumeirah beach.Palm Beach in Dubai:Another one of our popular hang-outs and a major Dubai Attraction, the famous Palm Beach in Dubai has on offer a wide range of recreational and entertainment facilities. We've sun bathed, lazed around and simply relaxed on the white soft sand of this lovely beach. I love to indulge in water skiing, though I am not really fond of Kite surfing. I've also tried my hand at wind sailing.Mamzar Dubai Beach:A beautiful park bordering a nice, beautiful beach, the Mamzar is also amongst our family's favorite Dubai Beaches and a major magnet of Dubai Tourism. The Chalets are beautiful, and we've rented them out on more than one occassion. A superb time to spend with a loved one or the entire family.A kilometre stretch of golden sand and palm trees at the Jumeirah Beach Dubai Park is choc-a-block with people on weekends. You can also get snacks and drinks at the adjoining cafes.Beach Parks:The perfect place to spend a whole day as in a picnic, The Jumeirah Beach Park, Al Mamzar Beach Park and Zabeel Park are also worth a visit. We've spent many a weekend day from 10 am till sunset enjoying a picnic with family and friends here. You can hire bikes, or take a toy-train around the park.Barbecue pits are available in all these parks, and we've eaten (overeaten most times!) some of the tastiest chicken tikka and kebabs at these parks. The idea is to get along marinated, partly cooked, ready-to-barbecue, tikka, cottage cheese, vegetables, etc. from home. Mmmmm....My mouth waters even as I write.IMPORTANT things to remember at the Beaches in Dubai:

  • Ladies - No Topless or nude sunbathing. Do this, if you'd like to visit the Dubai Jail. Two-piece bikinis are allowed in some places, but no thongs.
  • Couples are advised to refrain from a show of affection towards one another on the beach. Fondling, smooching, caressing, necking are strictly prohibited and is considered unacceptable. Don't even think about intercourse on the beach. It's your ticket to Jail, a court case, a hefty fine and deportation.
  • One day, usually mid-week is a day when only ladies and children are allowed in the parks.
  • There are showers and toilets at the beach.
  • There are lifeguards on duty until sunset.
  • Swim Safe: It is advisable to stay close to the shore while swimming in the Arabian Sea at any of the Dubai beaches.

Some Dubai Luxury Hotels like the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa and the Le Meridien Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort have their own private exclusive beaches, where you can enjoy the sun and sand, without any prying eyes...
