Henry and Lola Lawton got married in 2000 and have 2 children: Nancy (10) and Ella (8). They travel each year on a 2 week holiday. This year they traveled to Atlantis at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai,Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai - An Ethereal Experience Articles UAE. Here’s what they said in their own words:

“We arrived in Dubai at the world famous Dubai International Airport on the 21st of October, Lola’s birthday. We caught a taxi and gave directions to the driver to take us to the Atlantis Hotel on Crescent Road, Palm Jumeirah. Check-in was quite simple, and they gave us complimentary refreshments: Kava (a popular tea-based appetizer in the UAE) and cold towels. High speed wi-fi was freely available in the lounge, so we quickly connected to friends and family back home via Whatsapp and Facebook. They were thrilled to see pictures of the hotel, the Palm Islands etc. The few we had managed to click on our way to the hotel…

After having the refreshments, we shifted to our room on the 23rd floor from where we could take in an amazing view of the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Sea.

As a resident of the hotel, it is complimentary to use the AquaVenture water park and the beautiful Nasimi Beach where many of the concerts and other events are usually held. One of the best things about the Atlantis is the friendly and interactive staff and the incredible facilities.

The Atlantis is a 5-star hotel in Dubai and a true culinary destination with over 23 fine restaurants. Nobu which is a legendary Japanese restaurant, being one of the most charming hotels, is also the hottest venues in Dubai. Personally, I would recommend Ossiano if you have a taste for sea food. Also, you will be engulfed with the Ambassador Lagoon which makes Ossiano the most luxurious out of all. We decided to take our dinner at Ossiano; lunch at Nobu and since we arrived pretty late for breakfast we had our brunch at Bread Street Kitchen and Bar. Gorden Ramsay’s Bread Street has a delectable British menu and superb variety of beverages.

The washrooms and bathing rooms are equipped with Floris branded designer toiletries at the Atlantis; which are restocked every day by the housekeeping staff. I found the staff to be very affable and gentle and they will literally go out of their way to make you feel at ease.

In brief, this was an extremely grand and opulent stay we had at the Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai this year. I will surely plan to make our booking in this fabulous Luxury Dubai Hotel again the next time.”
