Samajwadi Awas Yojna: An Affordable Housing Scheme by Uttar Pradesh Government

Samajwadi Awas Yojna: It is an affordable housing scheme of Uttar Pradesh government in which the government aims to develop approx 3,00,000 affordable houses for middle and lower categories of the society.  The policy of Samajwadi Awas Yojna was launched on December 2014 and all the upcoming housing schemes of UP government will be launched under this housing policy.

Under this policy few development authorities which are working under Uttar Pradesh government has launched some housing scheme for Economical Weaker Section, Lower Income Group and Medium Income Group of the society. Out of total few schemes are currently running but few are closed.

Housing Scheme under Samajwadi Awas Yojna

2. Samajwadi Lohia Enclave Awas Yojna
3. Anand Vihar Housing Scheme
4. Lohia Greens Housing Scheme
5. Vasundhara Enclave Housing Scheme
6. Shatabdi Nagar Affordable Housing Scheme
7. Ramganganagar Housing Scheme
8. New Affordable Housing Scheme in Lucknow

All the above schemes are launched under the Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Awas Yojna, under which number of flats are on offer for MIG, EWS and LIG category of the society.

Indraprastha Housing Scheme 2015 under Samajwadi Awas Yojna: The Scheme is launched by Ghaziabad Development Authority at Indraprastha Pocket-D, Ghaziabad. The scheme offers 888 flats for all categories at affordable price. It is an Upcoming Housing Scheme of GDA which will start from 10 March with the last date of 10 April 2015.

Samajwadi Lohia Enclave Awas Yojna: It is the currently running housing scheme which is launched by Lucknow Development Authority. Total 5779 multi-storey flats are being offered for EWS, LIG & MIG category by the authority at Devpur Para, Lucknow. Registration for the scheme was started from 2 February 2015 and the last date of registration is 31 March 2015.

Anand Vihar Housing Scheme: The scheme is launched by Hapur Pilkhuwa Development Authority under which total 198 multi-storey flats are on offer for Lower Income Group and Medium Income Group of the society. The name of the scheme is Anand Vihar Scheme 235 which is located at Anand Vihar Yojna NH-24. Applications are being invited in the registration period from 20 February to 20 March 2015.

Lohia Greens Housing Scheme: The scheme is launched with 447 flats by Bareilly Development Authority. The authority launched two housing scheme under the same policy first is Ramgangangar Housing Scheme and second one is Lohia Greens Scheme. Registrations for Ramganganagar scheme was started from first January and for Lohia Greens registration was starts in February however registration for both the scheme were closed.

Vasundhara Enclave Scheme: The scheme was launched by Gorakhpur Development Authority under which total 240 flats was on offer for Medium Income Group which are located at Gautam Vihar Extension and registrations for the scheme is closed.

Shatabdi Nagar Affordable Scheme: It is the one of the biggest scheme launched by Kanpur Development Authority under which total 7360 are being invited through registration process. The name of the scheme is Shatabdi Nagar Sulabh Awas located at Shatabdi Nagar, Kanpur. Applications for the scheme were started in the end of January and the last date of registration is 03 March 2015.

Apart from these housing scheme the UP government planning for developing new township under which thousands of flats will be on offer Medium Income Group, LIG & EWS category.
